Columbia College Chicago Department of Creative Writing presents the 18th Annual Story Week Festival of Writers programs in partnership with the Chicago Public Library.
Join us as a panel of distinguished guests explore the art and importance of the short story. Participants include:
Stuart Dybek, author of I Sailed with Magellan. Dybek's book The Coast of Chicago was a One Book, One Chicago selection in 2004.
Roxane Gay is the author of An Untamed State and teaches writing at Eastern Illinois University.
Katey Schultz is the author of Flashes of War.
Christine Sneed is the author of Little Known Facts and was awarded the 2013 21st Century Award, honoring significant recent achievement by a Chicago-area writer and presented by the Chicago Public Library and Chicago Public Library Foundation.
Patricia Ann McNair, author of Temple of Air, acts as host. McNair teaches at Columbia College Chicago.
