Program: Tax Assistance
About this event:
It's cold outside, and that means that we're on the verge of tax season. Taxes may seem confusing, but they don’t have to be. Learning basic terms, deadlines, and tax rates can help eliminate the confusion for individuals and small business owners.
Join us to learn the difference between a tax credit and a deduction, why the government offers tax benefits for specific expenses, how to choose the correct filing status, and more. An extended question and answer session will follow the presentation.
Michael Caramagno will present this program. Michael is a Principal at Michael Caramagno CPA, Ltd. He studied accounting in his undergraduate days at Michigan State University and earned a Master of Taxation from Wayne State University in Detroit. Michael is a proud Edgewater resident and an avid sports fan.
