About this event:
Understanding Today's Students presents Addressing Brain-based Academic and Social Learning with Meryl E. Lipton, M.D., Ph.D. What gets in the way of learning and are too many children diagnosed these days? Dr. Lipton, Pediatric Behavioral Neurologist and Executive Director of the Rush Neurobehavioral Center will explore the many issues parents face in reviewing options for assisting children with learning differences.
Understanding Today's Students is a collaborative program in cooperation with the staff of the Rush Neurobehavioral Center (RNBC) and the Chicago Public Library.
RNBC is an approved provider of professional development credits by the Illinois State Board of Education for teacher certification renewal plans. RNBC is a not-for-profit organization offering continuing education programs to inform teachers of neurobehavioral disorders. 1.5 hours CPDU credit will be given for this program.
