Program: One Book, One Chicago
About this event:
Join interdisciplinary artist and cultural organizer Favianna Rodriguez, Albany Park Theatre Project ensemble members and Artistic Director David Feiner for a look at where immigrant rights intersect with art. This multi-media discussion will draw from Rodriguez' experience lecturing about and creating art that addresses immigration and social change, and take a look behind the scenes at APTP's critically acclaimed play, Home/Land, which tells the stories of immigrant families and grassroots immigrant rights activists.
Rodriguez appears in a weeklong series of events and workshops in Chicago presented in partnership with the Jane Addams Hull House Museum. Presented as part of the current One Book, One Chicago program, which explores how migration has shaped Chicago.
