The Chicago Public Library and the NRDC Action Fund present an exploration of the role of women in local and national politics. A stellar panel will address this issue with a lively discussion.
The evening's moderator is Chicago-based author and activist Rebecca Sive. Sive is the author of Every Day is Election Day: A Woman's Guide to Winning Any Office, from the PTA to the White House.
Other panelists include Frances G. Beinecke, President of the NRDC Action Fund and Lisa Madigan, Illinois Attorney General. The group will examine the intersection between environmental leadership and political leadership.
