About this event:
A world-traveler for decades, Peg Griffiths, has chosen the bicycle as her favored method to see the world. Her last trip took her to the Palestinian territories (Israel), for a cultural and biking adventure. Living with a Palestinian family, pursuing Arabic studies, and finally joining a group which cycled the length of this area: a trek from Jenin to Nablus to Taybeh to Jericho to the Red Sea area, to Bethlehem, and Hebron and finally Jerusalem. Peg is a history buff and an exercise enthusiast, so combining biking with seeing sights such as the Roman ruins and the prison where John the Baptist was held (Sebastia) is a perfect adventure.
