The Chicago poetry scene provides many opportunities to promote one’s work. From print to poetry slam to radio, there is something for every motivated poet to take advantage of here in Chicago. Please join us for a lively discussion of the secrets of promoting your poetry. A question and answer session will follow. In Multipurpose Room B, Lower Level.
C.J. Laity has 25 years experience promoting poetry. Emily Calvo is a founding member of Chicago Slam Works. Gregorio Gomez is host of Monday Nights at Weeds. Mario is a poet, activist and radio chat show host on WHPK 88.5 FM. Victor David Giron is the publisher, editor-in-chief and publicist for Curbside Splendor.
