Calling all tadpoles in Kindergarten, First, and Second grades! Hop on over to Roosevelt Branch for our first-ever Book Buddies program!
Spring is in the air, and that means brand-new readers are eager to practice their skills. A complement to Chicago Public Library's Hop Into Reading! New Reader Book Club, Book Buddies pairs younger children with our enthusiastic teen volunteers to celebrate the fun of reading aloud.
Drop in anytime between 2-4 p.m. on select Saturdays to make a new friend, find just the right book, and hop into reading success. And don't forget to ask for a specially designed 'frog log' to keep track of the books you read!
