About this event:
What is art? Who is it for? How does art enhance the public realm? Author and urbanologist Max Grinnell will talk about the role of public art in American cities and guests will learn a bit more about how public art shapes our understanding of urban spaces and how different public art projects can truly be exercises in community building. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the public art installation coming to our beautiful library later this year! Join us for an intriguing and educational program! Registration is not required. For more information, please call (312) 743-0480.
