Cousins are special people. My son's primo (cousin) is his partner in crime, best friend, and brother. Did you know there's a special day to honor cousins? On July 24 reach out to your cousins and show your love for them on Cousin's Day.

Celebrate the ones that make family gatherings fun with these books that showcase the special relationship between cousins.

Dear Primo follows two cousins from the United States to Mexico, as they write letters back and forth. Although their environments are completely different they have a lot more in common than they thought.

Annie and Snowball and the Book Bugs Club is a great book for beginning readers. Annie's cousin Henry is hesitant to join the Book Bugs Club at the local library with her during summer break. Henry soon discovers that being a Book Bug is not so bad after all.

The cousins in Cupcake Cousins love the idea of vacationing at Lake Michigan for their aunt's wedding. The fourth-graders try to prove they should be bakers and not flower girls. After a few mishaps in the kitchen, though, it's not looking good. The girls get a chance to prove themselves when disaster strikes and they must save their aunt's wedding.
