Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month Featured Artist: Hyeonkyeong Yeo

The Chicago Public Library is celebrating Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month (May) with a series of art exhibits of works by Asian/Pacific American artists. These exhibits can be seen at library locations throughout the city. West Pullman features artist Hyeonkyeong Yeo, who explores women’s body image issues set against modern society’s current versions of idealized slender models in her painting.
