West Englewood Branch opened August 23, 2003. The branch is part of the Street Revitalization Project and has a reading garden. It features environmentally sustainable construction under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System developed by the U.S. Green Building Council.
