Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month Featured Artist: Stella Zee

May 1, 2013 – May 31, 2013

The Chicago Public Library is celebrating Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month (May) with a series of art exhibits of works by Asian/Pacific American artists. These exhibits can be seen at library locations throughout the city. Sulzer Regional Library features artist Stella Zee, a local artist who was born in China and grew up in Hong Kong and Brazil. She paints plants as sanctuaries and envisions animals as spirit guides.
