Mount Greenwood
About This Library
Mount Greenwood Branch was dedicated June 8, 1991, replacing a small storefront in use since 1964.
Mount Greenwood Branch has four pieces funded through the Percent for Art Ordinance administered by the City of Chicago Public Art Program: a set of oil paintings, “Untitled” (1994) by John Bakker, a steel sculpture by Mary Brogger, a watercolor on paper entitled “Highlights of Mt. Greenwood” by Jack Simmerling and two oil paintings by Ann Wiens.
The Mount Greenwood Branch reading garden has won several awards.
