About this Library
Mayfair Branch was rededicated on June 29, 1996 and opened on July 1, 1996, after a move to its present expanded location. The branch replaced a series of storefronts, the first of which opened in 1942 as a sub-branch of the Albany Park Branch. In 2002, Mayfair Branch celebrated 60 years of library service.
