Calligraphy and painting by Hyun Po Samuel Shin ASIAN/PACIFIC AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH FEATURED ARTIST: HYUN PYO SAMUEL SHIN
May 1, 2012 – June 30, 2012

The Chicago Public Library is celebrating Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month (May) with a series of art exhibits of works by Asian American artists. These exhibits can be seen at library locations throughout the city. At Lincoln Belmont, artist Hyun Pyo Samuel Shin’s calligraphy and painting, “Rediscovering Phenomena,” recall ancient times.
