SOCIAL SCIENCES

  9 of 12

The Social Sciences Division book collection on this floor includes education, history, sociology, philosophy, religion, psychology, parapsychology, general biography, genealogy, travel and Chicago history. The reference collection of sources on foundations, grants, and proposal writing assists grant researchers. This Division provides street and road maps of the United States as well as atlases and gazetteers for reference use. The Teacher Resource Center coordinates materials for teachers, administrators, students and others. On the east side of the floor you'll find two Civil War cannons from the Grand Army of the Republic Collection.
