About This Library
Garfield Ridge Branch opened May 27, 2005, replacing a smaller storefront facility. Bridgeview Bank & Trust purchased property and agreed to rebuild a library on the site the branch presently occupies.
Garfield Ridge Branch first opened in 1961. The branch moved into another storefront facility in 1991, where it remained until moving to its present location.
