Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month Featured Artist: SooHyun Kim

The Chicago Public Library is celebrating Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month (May) with a series of art exhibits of works by Asian/Pacific American artists. These exhibits can be seen at library locations throughout the city. Clearing features artist SooHyun Kim, a contemporary artist who uses photography to tell stories. Kim won the Photo Review Competition and the International Photography Award in 2012 and was selected for the Korean International Art Fair’s Artist Support Program in 2010. Kim is studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
