Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month Featured Artist: Mitsu Salmon

May 1, 2013 – June 29, 2013

The Chicago Public Library is celebrating Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month (May) with a series of art exhibits of works by Asian/Pacific American artists. These exhibits can be seen at library locations throughout the city. Lincoln Belmont features artist Mitsu Salmon. A student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Salmon has studied, lived and produced artwork in Japan, India and Bali. She is showing watercolors and ink drawings inspired by and created in these locales.
