Some people seem to function just fine without a cup of coffee in the morning. I am not one of those people. Thankfully, I am not alone. Chicago has many wonderful coffee shops catering to folks like me in need of a strong Americano. And what goes with coffee? A good book. You were enjoying an iced coffee while reading The New Yorker, a classic magazine for the well-read. It's available everywhere with Zinio for Libraries along with many other digital editions of your favorite magazines.
Several of you were prepping for finals week and powering through those notes with a large, blended mocha topped with peaks of whipped cream. I saw textbooks, notebooks and laptops galore. Don't forget students, CPL has got your research needs covered with online resources like JSTOR, Oxford Art Online and Literary Reference Center. All you need to access them is your library card!
