Fall Into Books…and TV

I love books...just as much as I love television. Sure, there is nothing better than curling up with a good book, but its also just as comforting to flop on my couch and watch a rerun of The Cosby Show. Just my luck fall TV programming is in full swing, and many of today's actors and actresses have written books that are just as good as their shows.

Mindy Kaling returns in the second season of The Mindy Project on Fox, but she reveals much more about herself in her book, Is Everyone Hanging Out without Me? (and Other Concerns)

Jon Stewart has returned from the Middle East and new episodes of  The Daily Show are back on Comedy Central, but I can also get his hilarious take on the human race by reading Earth (the Book).

Speaking of Comedy Central, did anyone catch The Roast of James Franco? Some of the best comic actors in Hollywood making fun of Franco's artistic ways like his book of short stories, Palo Alto.

The fifth season of The Vampire Diaries begins on the CW at the end of October. This show based on L.J. Smith's teen books are better than all four Twilight movies put together.

Steven Spielberg and George Lucas agree that the film industry is imploding. Looks like television is just getting started, and these books are just a bonus.
